Potter hypochondriac military soldier artist romantic insurance fraud comedy melodrama ("Love that leaves you limp with laughter!"; "Romance with a twinkle in its eye!"; "Written by Bess Taffel"; "Lady, your intentions are showing!"; "He's in love with an artist! She's in love with her art!"; about an ex-soldier who thinks he is dying, and he meets a beautiful young artist who lives with her kid brother and he decides to take out a huge insurance policy and then have himself killed by hitmen, so the girl and her brother will have a great life after he is gone; he learns he is NOT dying, and tries to call off the hitmen, but they are not so easily stopped; this was a comedy, but it has many film-noir elements, and even has a bizarre nightmare sequence!) starring Bill Williams, Barbara Hale, Lanny Rees, Sam Levene, Dan Tobin, and Nestor Paiva.
