Artist: Al Hirschfeld Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that was in 2014! Note also that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: fair. The poster is in much lesser condition. It has many creases and scuff marks throughout and there are significant creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges. Many of the tears or other defects as described above have been repaired with several pieces of tape from the back. After proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition issues, the potential cost of restoration, and see our super-sized image before bidding on it.
