Date Sold 6/17/2018 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 11 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) Tanga-Tika, the 1953 Dwight Long Tahiti tropical island romantic melodrama ("Love and Life in Exotic TAHITI"; "A South Seas sizzler about blazing romance in the lush and lovely South Seas"; "...Captured in natural color amidst tropical settings that excite the imagination and thrill the senses."; "...primitive emotions...Polynesian revelries...and tropical excitement"; based on a Tahitian legend, about a young man who needs to earn enough money to marry his sweetheart, but he gets lost at sea, and he is shipwrecked, and his girl thinks he is dead, and she becomes engaged to another man) starring Adeline Tetahaimuai, Paul Meoe, Alice Swenson, Tumaatura, Roger Soui, Governor Anzani, and Mayor Poeui. Note that this was a U.S. movie, but they did cast Polynesian actors in the lead roles. Note that a still we have seen from this movie says "A GEORGE SCHAEFER RELEASE" at the bottom, but we don't know who that man is or how he was connected.
