An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Mrs. Temple's Telegram, the 1920 James Cruze silent romantic comedy farce (based on the play "by Frank Wyatt and William Morris"; about a married man who spends a night talking to a female friend, but he knows his wife won't believe that, and so he tells her he spent the night with a fictitious man, and his wife sends that man a telegram, and it is delivered to a real man with the same name, and he visits the couple to find out what is going on, and many farcical situations result!) starring Bryant Washburn, Wanda Hawley (in the title role as Mrs. Clara Temple), Carmen Phillips, Walter Hiers, Sylvia Ashton, Leo White, and Anne Schaefer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine.
