An Original Vintage Theatrical Kraftbacked Folded Italian One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27 1/4" x 39" [69 x 99 cm]) (Learn More) La Corda d'Acciaio (literally translates to "Steel Rope"), the 1954 Carlo Borhesio French/Italian romantic circus family relationship melodrama starring Brigitte Fossey, Fausto Tozzi, Xenia Valderi, Virna Lisi (in her first movie, and she's fourth billed!), Sciommari Gianpiero, Olga Solbelli, and Mimo Billi. Artist: Rinaldo Geleng Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially Italian movie! Also note that this Italian one-sheet measures 27 1/4" x 39" [69 x 99 cm]. Also note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster has moderate fold and border wear and some scuffs in portions of the edges. There is a large censor stamp at upper right and a large snipe at lower right .
