He was "Cookie" to Roy Rogers in ten movies, and also "Jingles" to Guy Madison's Wild Bill Hickok in a popular radio and TV series, and probably his best remembered movie role was in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. He not only appeared in over 400 movies, but he also hosted a children's show called "Andy's Gang", which has cult status and which also featured Froggy the Magic Gremlin!
