An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures approximately 30" x 40") (Learn More) Quatermass II (released in the U.S. as "Enemy From Space"), the 1957 Val Guest English science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller sequel ("A horrible enemy from the unknown strikes terror across the Earth!"; "A creeping terror of Destruction - A Nightmare of Horror and Fear!"; a sequel to the 1955 movie "The Quatermass Xperiment", and this quite likely is the first movie sequel ever to have the Roman numeral "II" in its title to signify a sequel!; beginning right where the first movie left off, Professor Quatermass is trying to design a moon colony, but he discovers a secret military base nearby, which may be controlled by aliens intent on conquering the Earth) starring Brian Donlevy (in the title role as Professor Bernard Quatermass), Sidney James, John Longden, Bryan Forbes, Vera Day, William Franklyn, Charles Lloyd Pack, Michael Ripper, Percy Herbert, and Tom Chatto NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this English movie! Note that this British quad was folded vertically three times and horizontally three times (this being folded one time more than is sometimes done, but it is quite common with British quads, especially older ones). Because of this, this quad can be sent in one of our standard size flat packages (but if it is purchased together with quads that have not been folded in the same way, then it will of course have to be sent in one of our tubes if the other quads are unfolded, or, if it is purchased with other quads that are only folded once horizontally than it can either be sent in an oversized flat package, OR in a tube). But if this quad is purchased by itself (or solely with other quads that have been folded the same way), then the shipping can be lower, because it then fits in a standard package. But please realize that because this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time it is likely that the creases have diminished and therefore re-folding the poster will likely bring some of those creases back, but we leave that decision as to whether or not to re-fold the poster up to the individual buyer of this item.
