Lilina, and Ivan Kudryavtsev. Note that this was one of three movies (essentially a trilogy) that were released in 1938, 1939, and 1940. The first was "Detstvo Gorkogo" ("The Childhood of Maxim Gorky"). The second was "V Lyudyakh" ("On His Own"). The third was "Moi Universitety" ("My University").
