Vignola silent romantic love triangle teenage comedy melodrama ("Louise Huff & Jack Pickford in a picturization of Booth Tarkington''s Seventeen"; about an unsophisticated 17 year old man who falls for a pretty girl, and spends all his money on her, but then she ditches him, and he considers suicide until he falls for a different pretty girl) starring Louise Huff, Jack Pickford, Winifred Allen, Madge Evans, and Walter Hiers. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this one-sheet! Also note that this one-sheet measures 28 1/2" x 41" [72 x 104 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had extra vertical folds and it had some small areas of paper loss on parts of some folds, with paper loss in the lower right border extending into the brown background. It had some tears and paper loss in the rest of the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
