An Original Vintage Autographed 7 3/4" x 9 1/2" [20 x 24 cm] Still (Learn More)

Jessica Tandy was an English actress from 1930s to 1990s. She was married for a very long time to Canadian Hume Cronyn, another wonderful actor. Perhaps the highlight of her career was being the first actress to play Blanche Dubois in Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire on Broadway. Some of her movies include: Fried Green Tomatoes (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Driving Miss Daisy (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), and Cocoon, and she had a long distinguished stage, movie, and TV career. Tandy passed away in 1994 at the age of 85. AND Hume Cronyn was a Canadian actor from the 1940s to the 2000s. Some of his movies include: Brute Force, Shadow of a Doubt, Lifeboat, The Sailor Takes a Wife, The Postman Always Rings Twice, Cleopatra, Seventh Cross (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and Cocoon. He was married to English actress Jessica Tandy for 52 years, until her passing. This was his second marriage, and after she passed away, he married a third time, at the age of 85, and that marriage lasted until he passed away in 2003 at the age of 91.
Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Jessica Tandy AND Hume Cronyn! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 3/4" x 9 1/2" [20 x 24 cm].

Condition: good to very good. Someone took this still from The Birds and trimmed off parts of each blank border, including the part of the bottom border that had the title and credits. However, the image displays well, and of course, what matters is the autographs (see our images).
