An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Under Fiesta Stars, the 1941 Frank McDonald singing cowboy western musical ("Original story by Karl Brown") starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Carol Hughes, Frank Darien, Joe Strauch Jr. (as Tadpole), and Hal Taliaferro. Note that in 1941, the producers had the fun idea of giving sidekick Smiley Burnette (who played "Frog") a youthful sidekick of his own, and they hired young Joe Strauch Jr., who played that part in six of these movies, and naturally, his character was nicknamed "Tadpole"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had creases, tears, and some tiny paper loss in the top horizontal foldline and in the vertical foldline between the top and middle crossfolds. There was small paper loss at the crossfolds. There was minor wear on the other foldlines. There were pinholes in the corners and some minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
