If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that for this 1956 re-release, only this Forty by Sixty uses the great "fierce" image of King Kong from the 1933 three-sheet (the poster that sells for hundreds of thousands of dollars). We have not seen this image on any other U.S. King Kong poster other than the three-sheet and this poster, original or re-release! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded, but it was roughly handled while it was rolled, and there are now many horizontal creases, each spaced 3" apart in the top half of the poster, and in the bottom third, with very few in the area of the top of the Empire State Building and the top of the title. There are some tiny creases and scuffs on those folds, and some creases and scuffs in the rest of the image. There are smudges, scuffs, and stains around the edges of the poster, with a 1 1/2" tear and a 1/2" tear near the center of the top border, and a diagonal crease in the bottom left corner, ending in the middle of the bottom border, where there is a tiny tear. In spite of all these defects, the poster could still be displayed as it is, because they are not terribly distracting, and certainly, restoration can be performed (simply flattening the poster completely would greatly improve its appearance), but please read our description above and look at our super-sized image before placing a bid on this poster.
