An Unfolded Russian Special Poster (measures 26 1/4" x 37 1/2" [67 x 95 cm]) (Learn More)

The 1980 Summer Olympics (officially known as the Games of the XXII Olympiad) was an international multi-sport event held in Moscow, Russia. The mascot of the games was Mishka/Misha, a bear drawn by children's books illustrator Victor Chizhikov. They were the first Olympic Games to be staged in Eastern Europe (and a socialist country), and remains the only Summer Olympics held there. Led by the United States, 65 countries boycotted the games because of the Soviet war in Afghanistan, though some athletes from boycotting countries participated in the games under the Olympic Flag. This prompted the Soviet-led boycott of the 1984 Summer Olympics.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a few small tears along portions of the upper edge and left edges but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition!
