An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked English Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 39 3/4" x 69") (Learn More) Mad About Men, the 1954 Ralph Thomas English romantic mermaid fantasy musical comedy ("Hear Glynis Sing!") starring Glynis Johns, Donald Sinden, Anne Crawford, Margaret Rutherford, and Dora Bryan NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this English movie! Also note that English three-sheets normally measure approximately 40" x 85", but this poster measures substantially shorter (approximately 16" shorter). The reason for this is that it is missing a top section which contains three credits (Glynis Johns, Donald Sinden, and Anne Crawford), and possibly a very tiny amount of the image. Obviously, the person who owned this poster did not have that missing section, and had the portion of the poster that he did have linenbacked, and it does include almost all of the image, and all of the title. BUT PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS POSTER UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THAT IT IS MISSING THE TOP 16"! Condition: fair. The top 16" of the poster was missing . The portion of the poster that was there had tape stains across the bottom foldline, and tape stains in the borders, and a slightly diagonal horizontal box of tape stains around the title area (obviously, where there was once a snipe that changed the title to a different title). Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking (aside from the missing 16" at the top of the poster). The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS POSTER UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THAT IT IS MISSING THE TOP 16"! Learn More about condition grades
