Martin silent wild animal action serial ("The Super Wonder Film Animal serial in 15 Episodes"; "The wonder animal chapter drama") starring Al Ferguson, Ben Hagerty, Irene Wallace, Wilbur Higby, and Frederick Peters. Note that Selig Studios (officially the Selig Polyscope Company) had been one of the very first movie studios. This movie was their very last production, but it was distributed by the fledgling Warner Bros. studios, who just a few years later would become one of the dominant studios in Hollywood! Note that this is a "lost" serial which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that many years ago, I was very fortunate to find all the different chapter one-sheets from this early jungle serial, and each had a wonderful completely different image, but I would say that this chapter, with its close up leopard image, had the best of all of them! Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had some of its blank borders neatly trimmed off and it now measures 26" x 40". It had extra horizontal folds close to the regular ones and there were creases, tears, and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some foldlines, with some tears and smudges in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
