A 1971 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian One-sheet Movie Poster (measures approximately 27" x 40") (Learn More) The Professionals, the 1966 Richard Brooks (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) south-of-the-border foiled-kidnapping-of-rich-man's-wife cowboy western ("When you want action - this is the one you want!"; "Excitement!"; "Based on a novel by Frank O'Rourke"; "Written for the screen and Directed by Richard Brooks") starring Burt Lancaster, Lee Marvin, Robert Ryan, Jack Palance, Ralph Bellamy, Claudia Cardinale ("as Maria"), and Woody Strode. Note that this was a "thinking man's" western, with lots of clever twists and turns, and fine dialogue. This was one of the few westerns to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director! Other than some very minor creases along the foldlines and around the edges, the poster is in very nice condition!
