Date Sold 2/6/2011 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. pressbook (Learn More) a lot of 10 various-sized ad-mats from It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, the classic 1964 Stanley Kramer Cinerama slapstick crime comedy ("If ever this mad, mad, mad, mad world needed 'It's a mad, mad, mad, mad, world' It's now!"; "The biggest entertainment ever to rock the screen with laughter!"; "It's the biggest entertainment ever to hit the Cinerama screen!"; based on a story by William and Tania Rose) starring Spencer Tracy, Mickey Rooney, Milton Berle (he had a few minor roles as a child actor, and then resurfaced in the late 1930s, usually playing criminals' flunkies; he went on to great success in early television, sometimes appearing in drag, and he earned the nicknames "Uncle Miltie" and "Mr. Television"), Sid Caesar, Buddy Hackett, Ethel Merman, Dick Shawn, Phil Silvers (best remembered for playing the title role in TV's "Sergeant Bilko"), Terry-Thomas (born Terry Thomas Hoar Stevens, he was a very minor actor from 1935 to 1941, and then quit the business for seven years, and in his forties he became quite popular in English comedies, and he adopted the stage name of "Terry-Thomas", and he had a gap between his front teeth which was his trademark), Jonathan Winters, Edie Adams, Dorothy Provine, Eddie "Rochester" Anderson, Jim Backus (best remembered as the voice of Mr. Magoo and as Thurston Howell III in TV's "Gilligan's Island"), Ben Blue, Joe E.
