Wellman (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Battle of the Bulge World War II (WWII) military action thriller ("The guts, gags and glory of a lot of wonderful guys!"; "The story of 50 guys and a girl"; "Story and Screen Play by Robert Pirosh"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Van Johnson, John Hodiak, Ricardo Montalban, George Murphy, Marshall Thompson, Jerome Courtland, Don Taylor, Bruce Cowling, James Whitmore (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; in his second movie role!), Douglas Fowley, Leon Ames, Guy Anderson, Thomas E. Breen, Denise Darcel, Richard Jaeckel, James Arness, Scotty Beckett, and Brett King

Condition: very good. Note that these stills are slightly "bowed" (they don't lay completely flat). This is common with original vintage stills. The stills could be easily flattened out over time by storing them under weight. Each also has minor creases in the blank borders. Otherwise, these stills are overall in very good condition. Two of the stills have a faint stain in the image background. The close-up still of the still men on the ground has surface paper loss in each corner (slightly extending into the image background). The still of two men in a hole dugout has a pair of staple holes in the top corners of the image background.
