An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Black Fury, the 1935 Michael Curtiz coal miner union romantic crime melodrama (about an Eastern European coal miner who is very simple, but very popular, and he gets involved with both a pretty woman and the coal mining union, and there is a strike, and the mines' owners try to break the strike through illegal means) starring Paul Muni ("Paul Muni is the Muni of 'I'm a Fugitive'"; nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Karen Morley, William Gargan, Barton MacLane, J. Carrol Naish, Tully Marshall, Ward Bond, Akim Tamiroff, and John Qualen

Condition: fair. all four blank borders were folded back at one time; some substance stained the right side of the poster (the staining is mostly in the blank areas but extends into the right side of the title); There are a series of holes down the right side of the poster approximately 5" from the right edge. Fortunately, all but most of these are in the background (one is in Muni's hair and one is in the "K" of the title). The right border of the poster is tattered and there is paper loss. There is also paper loss in the right of the bottom of the world "BLACK". There are some light stains and smudges throughout the poster.
