Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this poster! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had darkened, more so around the edges. It had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and a few tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of some folds. It had pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but at some point, it acquired staining in three areas in the right excess linen, which slightly enters the poster in the middle of the right border (see our image). One could trim off all the excess linen, or could perform restoration in any other way, but bear in mind this significant defect before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
