A 1962 Re-Release Theatrical Danish Movie Program (measures 6" x 8 1/4" [15 x 21 cm]; 10 pages) (Learn More) The General, the classic 1927 Buster Keaton & Clyde Bruckman silent Civil War military railroad train locomotive romantic slapstick comedy (Buster is an engineer who is refused by the Army because he is needed for the war effort, and then his girl is kidnapped by enemy soldiers, and most of the movie is spent with one train chasing another train, but amazingly, it never gets tired, and the movie has more laughs per minute than almost any comedy ever made!) starring Buster Keaton, Marion Mack, Charles Smith, Richard Allen, Glen Cavender, Jim Farley, and the train (in the title role, because it is named "The General", and it plays a really major part in the movie!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that sometimes large theaters in Denmark at this time would have a special added set of covers (4 pages on a single sheet) printed and bound to the outside of the regular program, giving information about their specific theater, including a seating chart of the theater on the back cover. This is one of those programs that has the additional covers for the local theater. The entire regular program is bound within it, and of course, one could simply remove the outer covers, if they wanted to. We have photographed the regular cover of the program, rather than the one for the local theater, because that of course is what most collectors want to see. Also note that we have pictured the front and back covers and an interior 2-page spread from this program. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
