Note that this classic tearjerker is one of the most frequently remade movies ever! It was first in a feature film in 1916 (as "Madam X"), and was then remade in 1920, 1929, 1937, 1939, 1948, 1954, and 1966, and there was even a TV movie version in 1981! There is a small area of white paint in the blank background at upper left (it appears someone tried to cover over an area of ink transfer from the credits at bottom). The poster is somewhat brittle and there are several small tears and some areas of tattering and separation along the foldlines and edges with most repaired with pieces of clear tape from the back. Fortunately, the poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition and its colors are still vibrant and if one chose to have it linenbacked it would look fantastic! Learn More about condition grades
