8 Original 1947 Vintage Theatrical Russian 8 3/4" x 12" [22 x 30 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More)

Ivan Groznyj I (released in the U.S. in 1947 as "Ivan the Terrible Part One", as "Eisenstein's Ivan the Terrible", and as "Ivan the Terrible"), the 1944 Sergei M. Eisenstein Russian historical biographical war melodrama (reportedly, Eisenstein made this movie specifically because Josef Stalin wanted it made!) starring Nikolai Cherkasov (in the title role as Czar Ivan IV), Lyudmila Tselikovskaya, Serafima Birman, Mikhail Nazvanov, and Mikhail Zharov, with a wonderful musical score by Serge Prokofiev!

Important Added Info: Note that these are "country of origin" stills for this Russian movie, and they measure 8 3/4" x 12" [22 x 30 cm].

Condition: very good. Some of the stills have minor wear around the edges, and a few have slight darkening on the back of one border. Overall, they are in pretty nice condition (see our images).
