An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Six-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 81" x 81") (Learn More) The Seven Little Foys, the 1955 Melville Shavelson biographical vaudeville singing-and-dancing stage acting family relationship musical comedy ("Written for the screen by Melville Shavelson and Jack Rose"; a biography of vaudevillian performer Eddie Foy) starring Bob Hope ("as Eddie Foy"), Milly Vitale, George Tobias, Angela Clarke, James Cagney (reprising his role as George M. Cohan from "Yankee Doodle Dandy"), and Jerry Mathers NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fine. This poster was linenbacked and during the backing process, its extremely minor defects were repaired and it now looks really great! We only assigned this grade ("fine") to posters that were in really excellent condition prior to linenbacking, AND which were linenbacked by a top professional! The poster was in quite nice condition prior to linenbacking (it was clearly never used, and other than slight darkening on a couple of foldlines, and some very minor wear on some foldlines, it is in great shape!), and it was well backed, and looks great! Note that the person who linenbacked the poster did not have access to a single piece of linen the size of a six-sheet, so they joined together two three-sheet size pieces in backing the poster. It is not at all noticeable from the front, and should make no difference at all in displaying the poster! Learn More about condition grades
