Crea la Femme (released in the U.S. in 1957 as "And God Created Woman"), the classic 1956 Roger Vadim French/Italian romantic love triangle crime thriller ("And God Created Woman ...but the Devil invented Brigitte Bardot"; "A phenomenon") starring Brigitte Bardot, Curd Jurgens (billed as "Curt Jurgens"), Jean-Louis Trintignant, Jane Marken, Jean Tissier, Isabelle Corey, Paul Faivre, Marie Glory, Georges Poujouly, and Christian Marquand NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This Argentinean poster measures approximately 29" x 43" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). OR you can't see the restoration because it was so well done, but the poster had fairly significant defects. OR no restoration was performed, but the defects are not major, and restoration could be done to the poster without re-backing it. See below for its pre-restoration defects (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had tears and creases along many foldlines, and some paper loss at the crossfolds and in the blank borders. The person who restored the poster did a pretty nice job restoring the above defects, but you can still somewhat see them (mostly the restoration along the foldlines).
