An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) A Scream in the Streets (also released as "Girls in the Streets"), the 1973 Carl Monson crime action sexploitation thriller ("Her sensuous young body drove him to commit the ultimate act of lust!"; "This film deals explicitly with a highly erotic and controversial subject... absolutely adults only!"; "'Officer..!! They've got my wife!!'"; "The brave men who put their lives on the line to break... the connection!"; "A city - ripped apart by sin and lust!"; "Admission restricted") starring Frank Bannon, John Kirkpatric, Rosie Stone, Linda York, Brandy Lyman, and Colleen Brennan. Note that actress Colleen Brennan was more commonly known as Sharon Kelly (she was a very popular sexploitation actress in Russ Meyer movies, two of the "Olga" movies, and others, but when she entered "adult" films, she changed her name to "Colleen Brennan"). Also, note that the marketing for this film created two styles of one-sheet. One used the title A Scream in the Streets and focused on action (fights, car chases, guns, etc), and one used the title Girls in the Streets and focused on the sexy aspects of the film. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned three examples of this rare poster with the alternate title in all our years of auctioning! Note that in recent months we auctioned a collection of sexploitation one-sheets that included many rare titles from a single collector, and we recently auctioned the last of that collection. NOW, we have been consigned a different collection which includes even more very rarely seen titles! In recent sets of auctions we auctioned groups of one-sheets from this new collection, and this month there are 131 different ones (all are in separate auctions), and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare one-sheets to your collection, and, like the previous collection we auctioned, this consignor also only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good to very good. The poster has pinholes art (some are torn or enlarged due to rough removal) and some are repaired with tape from the back.
