An Original Vintage Folded World War II Propapaganda Poster (measures 28 1/2" x 37 1/4" [72 x 95 cm]) (Learn More)

Award for Careless Talk, the 1944 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("Don't discuss troop movements - ship sailings - war equipment") encouraging citizens to safeguard sensitive war information, and featuring Stevan Dohanos art of a Nazi hand wearing a swastika ring and holding an Iron Cross medal. Obviously, the point was that a person carelessly discussing war information was in essence a collaborator with Nazi Germany just as much as a Nazi soldier was, and that "loose lips" could result in Germans winning the highest awards, which is certainly "heavy handed", but it REALLY gets the point across!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good to fine. There are areas of minor separation at some of the crossfolds. There are white areas around the edges of the poster next to the borders to give the impression of a tattered poster but these areas are in the printing and are NOT defects in the poster itself.
