An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Advance Japanese "B1" Movie Poster (29x41; measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]) (Learn More) Densetsu Kyojin Ideon (released in English-speaking countries as "Space Runaway Ideon"), the 1980 - 1982 Japanese television (TV) & theatrical film science fiction (sci-fi) anime cartoon series featuring the voices of Yoku Shioya, Fuyumi Shiraishi, Hideyuki Tanaka, Keiko Toda, and Takkou Ishimori. Note that the TV series lasted from 1980 to 1981 but ended abruptly. To give fans an ending, two theatrical films were released in 1982. The first was called "The Ideon: A Contact", which mainly featured clips from the TV series. The second was called "The Ideon: Be Invoked", which featured an updated version of the final aired episode of the TV series, as well as episodes that never aired. Artist: Y. Also note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall!
