Cahn Our Gang newspaper journalism juvenile comedy short (in this entry, the kids have opened a newspaper, and they want to do a story about the local gang of tough kids, but they face serious reprisals) starring Robert 'Bobby' Blake (billed as "Mickey Gubitosi"), George 'Spanky' McFarland, Billie 'Buckwheat' Thomas, Darryl Hickman, and Juanita Quigley. Note that Spanky had started in Our Gang movies in 1932 at the age of 4, and by this time, ten years later, he was growing very weary of appearing in these movies. He would appear in just a few more Our Gang shorts (some uncredited) before he would retire completely in 1944, at the age of 16, and this was one of his last major starring roles. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds and some tears and small areas of paper loss on parts of the folds, with pinholes, tears, and a few stains around the edges, and a few pinholes scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
