Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had extra creases, tiny tears, and some scuffs along both foldlines, with many scuffs in Power's shirt at right. There were pinholes, tears, creases, and smudges around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, and although the above described defects are noticeable, I think the poster still displays pretty well (and of course, a restorer could perform additional restoration, with or without re-backing the poster).
