An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Mickey's Crusaders, the 1931 Albert Herman juvenile circus comedy comic strip short ("From Fontaine Fox's famous cartoons") starring Mickey Rooney (billed as "Mickey [himself] McGuire"; in the title role), Delia Bogard, and Billy Barty. Note that this is one of 50 "Mickey McGuire" shorts that Mickey Rooney starred in between 1927 and 1933 (he started when he was only six years old!). After 1933, he had a brief "lull" in his career, but he soon resurfaced as a top teen actor, and it was not long before he moved to the top of the box office in his roles in MGM movies, both in the Andy Hardy series, as well as musicals with Judy Garland. Important Added Info: Note that RKO re-released some classic comedy shorts, and also made some original shorts in the early to mid 1930s, and they made lobby cards that had a full bleed on each side (this is very unusual for regular lobby cards of this period). They look like they might have been trimmed, but they measure the full 11" x 14". Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine.
