An Autographed 4" x 5 3/4" [10 x 15 cm] Letter (Learn More) William Warren was a stage actor from the 1840s to the 1880s. He was born in 1812 in Philadelphia, and his father was an actor of the same name. His father passed away when he was 20, and he first appeared on the stage in New York City in 1841, in London in 1845, and then moved to Boston in 1846, and he remained there until he retired in 1883. He performed with the Boston Museum Theatre for 36 years! Warren passed away in 1888 at the age of 76. Important Added Info: This letter has been personally autographed (signed) by William Warren! Note that this is one of a wonderful collection of 91 items that were assembled by a collector decades ago, mostly from RR Auctions, which has auctioned signed items since 1976. The person who purchased these items passed away several years ago, and while he did not save most of the certificates of authenticity he received when he bought these signed items, almost all were purchased between the late 1970s and the early 1990s, and we think it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is genuine. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
