An Original Vintage Linenbacked French Circus Poster (measures 15 1/4" x 23 1/2" [39 x 60 cm]) (Learn More)

British Circus Imperator, the circa 1920s French poster advertising a circus, featuring wild art of a man getting decapitated by a diabolical figure while horrified audience members look on! Apparently this was an act by a magician who was an illusionist who had the ability to make it appear that he was decapitating somebody live on stage, but we strongly suspect that it didn't look as real in person as it does on the poster! If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It had darkened around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
