Important Added Info: Note that the art on this poster is unsigned and we believed that might mean it is a re-release, but we (and knowledgeable French collectors) had never seen a version with signed art. However, a French poster expert recently sent us an image of this poster with Boris Grinsson's signature (along with some coloring differences) and we now know that posters without the signature are from a re-release. Note that this poster ships in a very long tube (at least 33" long, but possibly 50" long or more). Therefore the shipping for this poster will be more than that for a poster that ships in a tube 32" or shorter, and possibly much more. Please bear this added shipping expense in mind before bidding on this poster. You can tell how long of a tube this poster needs to ship in by looking at the shorter dimension of its length and width and then adding 4" to that (so a 47" x 63" poster will need to ship in a 51" long tube). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had darkening on parts of several folds. It also had some ink transfer scattered in parts of the image, caused by the poster coming into contact with moisture while it was folded. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
