An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Thirty by Forty Movie Poster (measures 30" x 40") (Learn More) Samuel Fuller's China Gate, the 1957 Samuel Fuller French-involvement-in-the-early-parts-of-the-Vietnam-War military thriller ("An American Dynamiter Love-Locked in War-Locked Indo-China!"; "Love and war in French Indo-China!"; also written and produced by Samuel Fuller) starring Gene Barry ("as Brock"), Angie Dickinson ("as Lucky Legs"), Nat 'King' Cole ("His first dramatic role"), Paul Dubov, Lee Van Cleef, George Givot, Gerald Milton, Neyle Morrow, Marcel Dalio, Maurice Marsac, James Hong, William Soo Hoo, Walter Soo Hoo, Weaver Levy, Warren Hsieh, Paul Busch, and Sasha Harden NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that Nat King Cole is prominently pictured on this poster! Also note that this 30x40 has a silkscreen printed poster with an actual color photo which has neatly been "tipped in" (glued to the lower right corner of the poster). This is how almost all 30x40s were made at this time! Paper banners were also commonly made in this way at that time, and it makes for a striking poster, and few people would realize that it is not printed on a single piece, unless they examine the poster closely. Note that the silkscreen portions of this poster usually pick up scuff marks far more easily than other posters of this period (this was caused by the method of silkscreen printing, and is very common on these posters, and is not considered a major defect, unless it is very noticeable or distracting). Condition: very good to fine. There are creases, smudges, and a few tiny tears in the borders, and small paper loss in the upper left blank border, but the image area is in nice condition, and of course, the border defects will not show when the poster is framed. This poster was never folded (it was sent rolled in a tube to the poster exchange, and then to the theater, if it was used in a theater). The poster has survived in nice condition, but has a few VERY minor imperfections. We may have written just a few words about those imperfections, but we may not have, as they are very minor.
