Keep Britain Tidy is an English environmental charity from 1955 to the present. The charity was originally set up by a conference of 26 organizations as part of an anti-litter campaign, and became a registered charity in 1960. The organization's well-known "tidyman" logo first appeared in 1969, and in the 1970s national campaigning (featuring ABBA, The Walt Disney Company, David Cassidy and more) further increased awareness of the Keep Britain Tidy message.
