She adopted the name Jane Seymour when she started acting (it is the name of one of Henry VIII's wives). After a few roles on English TV she was cast as a "Bond girl" in Live and Let Die and many fans consider her the best Bond girl of them all! She then switched mostly to American TV, and she co-starred with Christopher Reeve in the cult favorite Somewhere in Time in 1980. In 1993 she headlined TV's "Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman". She has been married and divorced four times and has four children. She continues to act and has aged magnificently!
