Date Sold 4/1/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) House in Naples, the 1969 Peter Savage & Guy Tomajan World War II (WWII) romantic love triangle drug smuggling melodrama ("Get in quick!... Get out alive!"; "Smashes the nerves, sears the flesh, shatters the mind!"; "Based on the book by Peter Rabe 'House in Naples'"; about two U.S. soldiers in Italy during the invasion of Italy in World War II; they desert and start running a drug smuggling operation, and have all sorts of problems, including sexual ones) starring Peter Savage, Theresa Pellati (billed as "Therasa Pelati"), Sharynne Dale (billed as "Sharon Dale"), Jake LaMotta ("Former middle weight champion"), and Guy Thomajan. Note that boxer Jake LaMotta acted in a number of movies, but they were often tiny cameos, playing on his fame. In this movie, he plays one of the two main leads, one of the pair of soldiers (and he is the one who decides his partner has become a liability, and he tries to have him killed!). We don't know anyone who has seen the movie, so we don't know how good his acting was or wasn't! Note that the IMDB Claims that the film is from 1965 (with scant release information) and titled "The Runaways", while TCM says it is "House in Naples" from 1969. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a single one-sheet and 8x10 still from this movie until we received this lobby card! Note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There are some creases and a small tear in the top blank border. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
