An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 3 3/4" x 5" Movie Still (Learn More) Celia Johnson was an English actress from the 1930s to the 1980s. She will always be best remembered for her co-starring role in the wonderful Brief Encounter (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film). Some of her other movies include: The Captain's Paradise, and In Which We Serve. She passed away in 1982 at the age of 73. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Celia Johnson! It has a nice note on the back from Miss Johnson, and a stamp from the photographer (as seen in our image). The autograph was obtained by our consignor from an eBay auction, and the eBay seller sent a picture and two pages of letters and photos explaining why he was certain it was authentic (and we completely agree with him!). Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 3 3/4" x 5". Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: good to very good. The bottom border was neatly trimmed off and there is a tape stain on the back of the upper right, but the still is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
