An Original Vintage Autographed 3 1/2" x 6" [9 x 15 cm] Postcard (Learn More) Johnny Cash (nicknamed "The Man in Black") was a singer-songwriter, actor and author from the 1950s to the 2000s. Although he is primarily remembered as a country music icon, his music spanned many genres including rock 'n' roll (rock and roll), blues, folk, and gospel. This led to Cash being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Some of his movies include: All My Friends Are Cowboys, A Gunfight, and Five Minutes to Live. He passed away in 2003 at the age of 71, just a few months after his wife June Carter. Important Added Info: Note that this postcard has been personally autographed (signed) by Johnny Cash! Our consignor is a longtime collector and dealer. In the 1970s and 1980s, he wrote to stars and asked for autographed photos and index cards, and he also sometimes purchased signed items from other dealers. He does not have a certificate of authenticity for this item, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
