Important Added Info: Note that the first release 1969 one-sheet for this classic movie has a fairly small image of Peter Fonda in the lower right with a lot of blank space. When it was re-released in 1972, they wisely used the classic image of Fonda and Hopper on motorcycles, and therefore, many collectors prefer this poster to the first release one. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. It had a tiny dot of paper loss in the vertical foldline 2" above the middle crossfold, and some minor wear on the foldlines. It had three numbers written in red marker on the back of the top center of the poster (in the background above Fonda's hands), and they very slightly bleed through to the front. There were pinholes around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but the linenbacker did not address the tiny bleed-through from the red numbers described above (any restorer could touch up that area without re-backing the poster, if the new owner desired).
