Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More)

Sophie's Choice, the 1982 Alan J. Pakula post World War II (WWII) romantic melodrama ("Between the innocent, the romantic, the sensual, and the unthinkable. There are still some things we have yet to imagine."; "Based on a novel by William Stryon"; about the tortured relationship between two Nazi concentration camp survivors, and a young man from the South who moves to New York City and finds his life forever changed by his involvement with them and their awful secret) starring Meryl Streep (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Kevin Kline (who certainly deserved an Academy Award), Peter MacNicol, Rita Karin, Josh Mostel, and Josef Sommer (as the narrator). Note that this movie had a limited U.S. release in December of 1982 before receiving a wide release in March of 1983.
