An Original Vintage Theatrical Australian Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3 1/4" x 3 1/4") (Learn More)

The Jazz Singer, the 1981 Richard Fleischer pop musical melodrama ("The story of a man who can no longer live the dreams and traditions of his father..."; "And of the love he finds with a woman who believes in his talent."; "A movie that will make you care, make you sing, and make you cheer."; "Based on the play by Samson Raphaelson"; with the lead character a rock & roll singer; of course, the play had been originally turned into the first "talking" movie in 1927, with Al Jolson in the lead role; oddly, Jolson had NOT starred in the stage version of the play, even though it had been based on his own life!) starring Neil Diamond (in his only acting role!), Laurence Olivier, Lucie Arnaz, Catlin Adams, Franklyn Ajaye, Paul Nicholas, and Sully Boyar

Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the edges of the slide nearly as well.

Condition: very good to fine. This slide (like almost all other Australian glass slides we have seen) measures approximately 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and consists of two panes of glass that are attached with a masking tape-like tape across the top and bottom borders, with nothing on the left and right borders. This slide is in pretty nice condition.
