The poster was folded once in each direction and there is minor wear on the folds, and thumb tack holes in the corners. There was a minor printing defect that resulted in a long horizontal line running across the bottom of the left of the title. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
