Artist: Peter Strausfeld
Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! It is a special British quad printed for "The Academy Cinema". This was a major English cinema that had its own posters created and printed for movies they were showing (these were made during the first English showing of those movies). We are currently auctioning FIVE different "Academy Cinema" British Quads (in five separate auctions)! This is a rare opportunity to acquire one or more of these five posters that almost never are offered for sale or at auction. Note also that this British quad measures 30" x 40 1/4" [76 x 102 cm].

Condition: good. The poster was never folded. It has a large patch of slight discoloration and light rippling mainly in the art at center (see our image). This is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that much or most of the slight discoloration can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
