An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 9 1/2" x 12" [24 x 30 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Jean Marais was a leading French actor from the 1920s to the 1990s. He made several movies with director Jean Cocteau, and he is certainly best remembered for his starring role as the Beast in "La Belle et la Bete" (Beauty and the Beast). Some of his other movies include: Orphee, Le Notti Bianche ("White Nights"), and Drole de Drame ou L'etrange Aventure du Docteur Molyneux ("Bizarre, Bizarre"). He passed away in 1998 at the age of 84.

Important Added Info: Note that we know that the actor in this still is Jean Marais, but we don't know what film it is from. A knowledgeable collector tells us that this still is likely from the 1943 film "L'eternel Retour" (Love Eternal). If anyone knows more, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this still measures 9 1/2" x 12" [24 x 30 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.
