3 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (11x14; LCs; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Peacock Alley, the 1922 Robert Z. Leonard silent romantic melodrama ("Based on the story by Ouida Bergere"; a wacky story of a small town man who goes to France and romances a beautiful dancer and brings her back to his small town to live, but the residents are shocked by her actions) starring Mae Murray, Monte Blue, Edmund Lowe, William J. Ferguson, Anders Randolf, and William H. Tooker. Note that in 1930, Mae Murray starred in another movie that was also called "Peacock Alley", but oddly, it was not only not a remake of this movie, but it was also unrelated to this movie, except for the title (perhaps she just really loved that title!). Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that the top card pictured measures 10 3/4" x 14" but does not appear to be trimmed. Also note that these are hand-colored cards. In the days of silent movies prior to the invention of good quality full-color printing, studios would have lobby cards printed in black and white and then amazingly would hire women to hand-color the cards one at a time (apparently labor was very cheap at the time)! So, each card is colored slightly differently, and the coloring is never a perfect match.

Condition: very good. Note that these lobby cards have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they have never had any restoration of any kind!
