An Original Vintage Folded World War II Poster (measures 24" x 36" [61 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) You've Got What It Takes Soldier, the 1943 U.S. World War II (WWII) poster ("Now take care of what you've got!") encouraging soldiers to maintain their equipment, and featuring Ernest Hamlin Baker art of Uncle Sam in an Army helmet and a rifle on his shoulder. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Ernest Hamlin Baker Important Added Info: Note that we have auctioned a very large number of World War II posters, but we have never before auctioned this really cool poster, with a great image of Uncle Sam! Also note that posters like these were sent to military bases folded in envelopes, and often they had printing on the back telling how and where the poster should be posted. This is one of the posters with the printing on the back, and we have photographed the reverse of the poster (see our images). Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. There is small paper loss in the lower left blank border. There is separation at the right ends of the bottom two horizontal folds and in the top of the vertical foldline. There is the tiniest of paper loss at the middle crossfold and a tiny tear in the upper right blank border. Learn More about condition grades
