An Autographed Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Still (Learn More) Star Trek, the 1966 - 1969 Gene Roddenberry action science fiction (sci-fi) outerspace adventure television (TV) series starring William Shatner (as Captain James T. Kirk), Leonard Nimoy (as Spock), DeForest Kelley (as Dr. Bones McCoy), James Doohan (as Scotty), George Takei (as Sulu), Nichelle Nichols (as Uhura), Walter Koenig (as Chekov), Majel Barrett (as Nurse Chapel), and Grace Lee Whitney (as Yeoman Rand). Note that this show aired for three seasons, and was pretty popular the first two seasons, but the third season it was moved to Friday night (a poor night for the viewers this show was aiming at) and it was canceled. That seemed to be it, but it grew ever more popular in syndication, and in 1979, a decade after the show was canceled, a feature movie version was created, which led to many sequels (starring the original cast), and also several different TV series, with different casts. It is surely one of the most successful franchises of all time! Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by NINE people: Gene Roddenberry, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, George Takei, Walter Koenig, Majel Barrett, AND Nichelle Nichols! Our consignor started collecting autographed photos in the 1960s and continued throughout the 1970s and 1980s, and stopped early in the 1990s. He attended collector shows, where he obtained some autographs in person, and his other signed photos were purchased from reputable dealers in New York and Los Angeles. He does not have certificates of authenticity, but he (and we) believe it is likely that the signatures on his items are authentic.
UPDATED 03/31/2020: Note that a sharp-eyed collector spotted that Majel Barrett also signed this still (above her head but faded). As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
