An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Greatest Love, the 1920 Henry Kolker silent New York City immigrant family relationship romantic murder melodrama (about a family of Italian immigrants who go to New York City in 1905, and their son becomes an architect, but years later, their daughter is raped by a wealthy client, and the man is found dead, and her brother is accused of the crime, but his mother stands by him and proves his innocence) starring Vera Gordon ("The 'Mother' of 'Humoresque'"), Bertram Marburgh, Yvonne Shelton, Hugh Huntley, and William H. Tooker. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good to very good.
